Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is thermoplastic engineering plastics. It combines the excellent properties of all plastics, like shock resistance, abrasion resistance, anti-corrosion, self-lubricating, antistatic, absorb of shock power, etc. It is recognized as "amazing engineering plastics".

UHMWPE vs HDPE1) UHMWPE with Molecular Weight about 10 times of HDPE, it's Abrasion Resistance is much better than HDPE2) UHMWPE with much Higher Impact Resistance than HDPE, it is even used for bullet-proof clothes3) UHMWPE also has better Corrosion Resistant, Weather Resistant, Self-Lubricating etc. than HDPE4) UHMWPE will cost about 20% more than HDPE but it's Working Life can reach 3 times of HDPE, so UHMWPE is more economic
